How to Find a Wedding DJ
Selecting} a DJ on your wedding reception is likely one of the most important choices that you could make. Every thing else can be excellent, but if the music is not great, the wedding will fizzle. 6. Is his/her equipment totally backed up?
If a chunk of gear should happen to break, how will he/she react? Will there be downtime while somebody brings a alternative? What if the DJ were to get hurt prior to the event?
A few issues you should concentrate on:
· Get written confirmation of your agreement
· Make sure the DJ is insured
· Find out how much experience they have
· Meet in person to talk about music choice and details
· Find out if lights is included
Avoid those who don't return calls quickly or fail to provide you details you requested.
And most importantly, trust your instincts. If you have that feeling in your gut someone is wrong for you, you should just move on. The biggest error done by most brides and grooms in search of a DJ is the phone book value comparison. A guaranteed recipe for disaster is asking every DJ in the book and hiring solely on the lowest price. Do your research on the company. Ask for references and discuss price after all your other goals have been reached.
